Looking to get some better looking rims than the old steelies and have come across several sets of TJ rims and was wondering if anyone knew the backspacing of stock YJ rims vs TJ rims? I'm assuming the bolt pattern is the same - but is the backspacing going to cause problems. Right now it's got 30's on cheezy steel rims, but eventually I'm looking to go with a 4" lift and 33x9.50's on stock style aluminum rims.

I think YJ and TJ stock rims have 5.5" of back spacing. Running 30s you will be fine. But anything larger (Edit: the 33 9.5s you mentioned above it might run with minimal rubbing) you will need to kick the wheels out more. If you are looking for a good/inexpensive wheel look at Craiger soft 8s. Summit racing sells them for about $35 ea. With 4" of backspacing you will be fine to run 33s.

get a wheel with 3.5"-4" of back spacing you will be much happier and you will feel more stable with 33's.
