I hope I don't step on anybody's thread or overlook a common question with this but here goes. I have a 98 1 ton that I'm converting to single rear wheel and would like to put a complete lift system on it, probably about 5 or 6 inches or so as I would like to run a 35 or 37. No more. My question is, for the money who makes the best most complete lift system for this rig and who has the best pricing? Cost is a big concern but dependability and ease of installation are also since I don't want to have to do much if any torching and rewelding type work. This truck is a daily driver, vacation taker, family hauler, trailer tower, and work machine that I totally depend on for everything so as you might imagine ride, drivability, and durability are up there.
Thanks, Zack

The Skyjacker 5" Suspension should work for you. Get the new leaf packs for the back instead of the block/add-a-leaf combination. I ran that kit on mine with the 37 x 13 x 17 boggers and it rode great and performed pretty damn good without being so sky high that people will laugh at you. Skyjacker makes good kits for the dodges and that's what I would recommend. I think you'll spend about $1000 for the lift and it's definitely something you can put on if you have airtools and some coil spring compressors, regular old handtools and a little bit of experience. Nothing too fancy about this one. It's probably the easiest kit I've ever put on next to the old 73-87 chevy's.

I've got the Skyjacker 5" front set-up on my 00 3500 cummins. Works ok, but since I've gone to 8" their too short! Looking for a long arm set-up.

skyjacker makes a 7" long arm kit for the 3/4-1ton dodges. just order the backetry and arms that you need for it and it should work with your 8" coils...

there are other long arm kits out that but they are damn expensive compared to the SJ
