I havent found any real comparisons between a welded diff and locker. Besides price which is the better alternative? I have herd that a welded diff is stronger but I havent had any expierence with one.

Thanks,

Here's a little excersize to be able to better understand the differences between a locker and a spool:

look at the top right hand corner of the screen. There should be a button that says SEARCH. CLICK IT YA FAWKIN NEWBIE!! :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

lotsa threads on this, but what IMHO, the welded is more predictable than a locker, stornger than some lockers, cheaper (just about free), and wears rubber a bit more. Since the only locker I had was a detroit (factory in a IH RA20 rear) I am not the best one to ask, since I like my welded shiat!!

If its in the rear, crank up the machine and burn some rods, if its in the front get a locker.
