I have be tempted with the idea of swapping of set of them onto the 40. My question is can I swap my 3rds with my ARBs from my 40 axles into the FJ60 axles? Alright the "being done" part didn't last very long.:p

Is there any advantage in swapping to the fj60 axles besides the 3 extra inchs of width?

Sure. Here's a pic (http://www.birfield.com/~morgan/temp/img_2502.jpg). I'm gonna tear it apart this weekend. The diff is going in the back of my 55, the birfields are going to Bobby Long for superbirfielding, the hubs and knuckles are going in my spares box and the rest is going on a shelf.

I'd sell the housing + anti-sway bar for $100 plus shipping, and I still have the pallet it came on. I would throw in the inner axle shafts for $150 plus shipping.

I'll put it in the for sale section.
