I need help, I've been robbed 3 times and its comming back around our neighbor hood (This time if I catch them, they get shot. Hands down. Fucking stupid kids).
I'm in need of a removeable steering wheel. My jeep isn't going anywere right now I have both shafts out and about to have the motor pulled. But I don't want ot spend all this money on the new motor and such only to have it stolen.
I don't know what they are called, but I just want a removeable steering wheel. ALready installing a kill switch (Which might be inconvenient in the spot I put it, but any idiot in a hurry wont find it.)
Thanks for your help, hopefully I can get one before it too late.

quick release steering wheel hub
perfect solution... i've used them in all my previous cars that were theft "prone." i would usually turn the wheel as far as it would go in one direction prior to removing it so the jeep couldn't be rolled anywhere except into my house or a tree 5 feet away....

Yeah I do that already since I drive everywere with no top on or anything. I had a bunch of dumbfuck freinds tkae my jeep thought they could roll it across the parking lot to the other side.... they figured out the hard way the wheel was locked and almost crashed my Jeep.
Would have made them buy me a restored CJ8.

first let me ask, is it a manual or auto? If a manual simply take a a big paddle lock and attach it to the clutch and brake pedal. Saw this in my fourwheel mag.
Get a hood lock, simply remove the coil plug boot than lock the hood.
not sure who makes this but i'm sure THE CLUB does, its a steering colum lock....seems to me like you could still steer the jeep with no wheel with a pair of vice grips??
get an overhead locking console and put the kill switch into that, or locking center consol by tuffy.
make it so you have to have your running lamps on to start it?
that is all i can think of rite now ... i'm tired lol
