so i built a 1999 dodge 360 (out of a 1500) from the block up. moly rings, r/t heads, hi volume oil pump, blah blah
anyways. I bought the thing as a short block and have been building from there.
i dont have one accessory bracket. i know i could fab these but i need to get my jeep running so i can get back to work.
anyways, anyone know where i can get these?
also, can someone enlighten me in the difference between the
1500 5.9 computer
1500 5.9 mopar performance
2500 5.9 computer standard
2500 5.9 computer heavy duty
2500 5.9 performance
?
and if anyone has pics of how they connected the intake to the throttle body, that would be crucial too.
thanks
Chris

do you mean the air intake or the intake manifold?
which accessory bracket do you need?
not sure of the specific PCM differences other than the mopar perf ones are supposedly full timing advance unlike the regular ones.

Connections to the motor should be the same, but will be different in PCM programming/pin-outs. What are you trying to do?

im wiring it into my jeep wrangler so the stock guages work. i was just figureing out which computer to get. which has best milage, which uses what gas, most power, blah blah
as far as accessory brackets. i need an alternater bracket and a power steering bracket. i dont really wanna fab those because itll take too much time and i wont be able to use a stock belt.
im sure you guys are not fans of jeepsunlimted, but that where most of the pics are so far. . . .

also, i just need to know what part connects to the top of the throttle body (filter side of intake, not manifold side)
i never say the stock piece and i dont know if it will fit. its 5 inches around i cant find any aftermarket fittings to go out it that clear the hood.
thanks a ton

if you are set on using the stock belt then the only way to get the brackets is off a junkyard engine or new from the dealer. The older LA series brackets can be made to work with little modification if you wanted to run V-belts.
The intake pipe that connects to the throttle body on most trucks is a right angle looking thing very similar to K&N's snorkel adaptor. The filter housing sets off to one side. Again a junkyard or dealer item.
