Jeep XJ fire problem

My jeep XJ caught fire on the passenger side , basically whole side and the wiring is basically fused do to the fire....... my jeep engine runs fine when turned on, but after the fire...... besides idle... it hesitates and runs like shit after u give it a lil gas...... im going to replace all the wiring, but does the Jeep xj, 1994 have engine wiring components on the passenger side that would make the engine run like this ???

your distributer and spark plug wires are on that side. I've seen bad distributers cause an engine to run like that.

Im sorry, i ment the inside of my jeep passanger side..... it was a complete internal fire, no engine fire at all, but my question is.... is there any eletrical wires that regulate the engine's preformance that are on the internal side (passanger) that might cause this problem ???
