Is 1/2 inch by 4 1/2 inch the correct size for the frame mount to large spring eye? I have aftermarket longer shackles. I am using Energy Suspension poly bushing and sleeves for aftermarket shackles. Thanks for your reply. :confused:

Who knows, how thick is the material of the shackle? Do you have a tape you can put on it too find out?:rolleyes:

It's not on the shackle side. It is where the large spring eye meets the frame mount toward the middle of the Samurai. Someone told me that is 1/2 inch by 4 1/2 inch. And another person told me that is 1/2 inch by 4 inch. I sent an email to all the Suzuki off road web sites to find the correct size. So far, Wheelers Off Road said 1/2 inch by 4 inch. And a hardcore wheeler said 1/2 inch by 4 1/2 inch. I am open to other disagrements since the other off road web site dealers probably would not answer me. :D

Get a bolt that is 4" and one that is 4.5 and see which one fits. Or get a measuring tape:flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2:
and what does your shackles have to do with the frame mount:confused: :confused:

The stock one is actually 12mm diameter, but a 1/2" with a swift kick in the butt will fit fine :D . 4" will work on the frame mount, need 4.5" on the shackles.
