720 rear leaf springs ??

I wish I had a picture, but on the rear springs of the 720's there is these little like mini cut down springs that are attached in the front and the rear of the spring? Is this of some type of overload, and/or dampener? One is actually L-shaped around the other! They are like 4" long! What are they, I'm tired of saying I don't know!:confused: Any info would be great!

What those do is allow your leaf pack to spread apart more for added flex and softness. Those l-brackets hold it back. I have a helper leaf on mine and it really get's used.
