OK, I would have done a search, but since the search function is limited to red star members, I am SOL. SO, I scrolled throuhg a few pages of topics to see if I could find the answer to my question. No luck there either, so here is my question..
I want to do a hydroboost in my YJ, but don't have the $800 to spend on a Vanco ( I think that is who makes them). In what trucks can I find a Hydroboost set up? So I can just hit up some salvage yards and pull the parts I need.

Van says to use any hydroboost from a truck, skip the car ones. 70s-90s GMC/CHEV trucks work well.

Van can also rebuild your hydroboot unit for under $200

2000+ Chevy truck from a bone yard. Either go new (in that case any year Chevy truck) or a late model bone yard. Don't use the crappy ass rebuilts Auto Part stores use, I do rebuild them for 180.00, yes.

How much to get it rebuilt and set up for Ram assist? If that can be done. Im not planning on Ram assist right away, but it can't hurt to have it ready to go for when I do get it.

Also, I assume it would be in a 1ton, correct? And should I upgrade to a larger brake lines?

280.00 to rebuild and hi-flow it which allows ram assist or full hyradulic steering (the rams won't notice the hydroboost). Doesn't have to be 1 ton, they're all basically the same, the difference won't matter to you at all. Leave the brake lines alone, they've never done anything bad to you!

Thank you for the info, kind sir! I have nothing againt my brake lines, I just wasn't sure if they would be able to handle that kind of pressure.
