And this must be the part where you call him a newbie...tell him to move the thread...and just be an all around smart ass...Guess what??? We all know it belongs there but there is a way to go about things and generally being a smartass isn't the way. Maybe your mother shoulda tought you some eticit...

Please enlighten us on "the way" the moderators have tried, members have tried multiple techniques and it only seems to be getting worse. I can tell you what doesn't work, answering a post with the info requested, this for sure will encourage additional dumb ass post. The Hard Core Forum thread description says to beware of getting flamed, so I see no problem with flaming a post that doesn't belong here.

So instead of calling you a dumbass cuz you spelled etiquette wrong, I should say hey dude check your spelling before posting. Cuz I have no idea what eticit is

It's almost Tuesday...almost.

Leave the stockers on your TJ or YJ, I doubt you need big tires.

I'd rather be a smart ass than a jackass.

What the hell has happened to this board?

What the hell has happened to this board?

Newbs get all butthurt when they can't read and understand where to ask these dumb questions that have no business in the Hardcore section.:shaking:

Then other newbs stick up for them and tell everyone to be nice, not understanding that we have tried many different ways to get idiots like this to post their question in the appropriate section.

Mostly the ones who complain about being flamed, or stick up for those who are being flamed, are not even supporting members of the board, and just come here to get the info they need, complain, and then go back to wherever they came from till next time.:mad3:

I try to ignore all the stupid shit now. Just report the thread so the mods will move it, and don't answer their questions till its in the appropriate forum. Hopefully they will learn

:flipoff2:

edit:his other posts have been in the appropriate sections, so I'll give him credit for that. why he put this one here, I have no clue.

Oh man...you all criticized my spelling...oh...what’s next...you all gonna come thru my internet and kick my ass...

Apparently you did know what "eticit" was because you hit spell check, corrected it, and then apparently got a big high off telling me about. Guess what I can hit spell check too...Maybe I'm too lazy...That still doesn't change the fact that you did know what I was talking about.

I'm through with this thread...Done. I'm not going to have an internet war with a bunch of smartasses I don't even know. So post what you will, but as far as I'm concerned I'm through with it. Grow up.

And one more thing. What exactly makes me a newb??? I've got a bachelors in Mechanical engineering, before that I TVA put me though school while I worked as one of there head fab. guys, and even before that I worked at my father's fab. company as a machinist - fabricator. I've designed and built more rigs and things for rigs than alot of you. Just because I've only been a member of this forum since Nov. 2005 and I only have 33 posts doesn't exactly make me a newb. maybe to this board it does...

i will tell ya what makes you a newb... posting a simple question about a basic wheel in hardcore, your asking for it, i dont care who you are. 1000 posts or 1 post, middle school kid or CEO of Jeep.

no hard feelings toward ya, but when anyone posts something like that, its gonna happen, i once was a newb, i still dont have many posts, but ya learn where to post and its all good! :cool2:

I think there should be a test or something before you are able to sign up, like skill testing questions. like?

will 3.07 gearing suffice for a vehicle that runs 42" irocs and an SM465 transmission?

Make it a timed test to so that people cannot search the answers. But in this case we are at a lack on 90% of the important information to form a competent answer.
