Brandon 04-11-2002, 09:31 AM what should I add to it?
Thinking a table with engine HP/Torque/bolt up trannies/etc
great for swaps
hmm is that there allready he he I better look ;)
anything else? Post some tech stuff and I'll add it..
Brandon 04-11-2002, 09:32 AM yep, it be there ;)
RokHeep 04-11-2002, 09:36 AM Brandon,
What about junkyard disk brake swap donors, etc...?
snowchucker 04-11-2002, 09:37 AM How about some toyota stuff off of Erik B's web site- axle widths, ring gear dims, etc...
morpheus 04-11-2002, 09:45 AM a few weeks back billvista or someone posted a whole list of engines and how much they weigh. if you could add the engine weights to the engines already listed there that would be cool.
also, fix the lines that say a D44 has a 8.75" ring gear so people will stop quoting bad info.

Patman 04-11-2002, 10:02 AM Brandon
How about an engine size chart for swaps. I know many of the mags have them every once in a while in swap issues.
Brandon 04-11-2002, 11:38 AM thanks for the suggestions, I was kinda hopin you guys could provide some tech for me to add cause I don't know that stuff :flipoff2:
Whatever is posted I will add..
Excellent suggestions though! For the engine stuff I will add the HO 5.0 wiring diagram that I did as a link.
Scout Dude 04-11-2002, 12:08 PM How about an Engine Size chart for swapping purposes? Sorry, I don't have a scanner so I tried to take pics of the mag.
Scout Dude 04-11-2002, 12:09 PM 2
Scout Dude 04-11-2002, 12:09 PM 3
Scout Dude 04-11-2002, 12:10 PM last one
Brandon 04-11-2002, 12:15 PM it would be easier if you retyped all the info in for me :flipoff2:
Thanks, what issue - maybe I have it?

Oct 2000 Four Wheeler. Big Red (useless!) Ford on the cover...also has the TTC rigs for that year in it.
Lil'John 04-11-2002, 12:54 PM How about the weights for axles, trannies, etc?
It would help for figuring shipping costs... as well as the people who want to make "ultra lite" buggies :p
Aggro 04-11-2002, 01:03 PM I happen to have a list of weights of every compenent in a 44 and 60 front. if you're interested...
Brandon 04-11-2002, 01:46 PM are you interested? This is a service to pirate4x4 readers. My rig is done, I don't care at the moment - I am just asking what YOU guys want and have to share..
:flipoff2:

:flipoff2:
I guess I need to be more specific. I am interested, but I already have this info. I suppose the more correct question is " Does anybody on the pirate bb give a fawk as to what a chevy dana 44 and 60 front axle components weigh" I'm sorry I mis-phrased it, I'll try to do better.:flipoff2:
:flipoff2:
:flipoff2:
Gozuki 04-11-2002, 02:17 PM Aggro, yes we care... And I can post up the engine weights again...
Scout Dude 04-11-2002, 02:37 PM The weights are in the photos that I posted....Except < it think that the Small Ford v-8 one is a little off @ 260 lbs.
Brandon 04-11-2002, 03:43 PM I am willing to add any data (cut in paste basically, in notepad) As far as retyping from a picture - if I find the time I will do that too but..
Skyetone 04-11-2002, 10:07 PM Hey brandon I just got a butt load of axles.... Went to the bible to ID them and did see pix of the rears... Didn't see squat an the front pinion differences, how to find the BOM# in (small type) graphic detail for idiots like me....The differences between a corporate and a regular..... stuff like that....oh and GM BTW cuz ford suck....Even as a motor...:D
cbassett 04-12-2002, 01:19 PM nice to have axle lengths (inner / outer), hub differences, on there. I've managed to find that stuff through warn.com and misc other pages, but this is supposed to be The Bible.:D
Scout Dude 04-12-2002, 01:58 PM Just "Aquired" this from a post from Jefe over on the Heap board. Don't know if all this info is already in the bible...but just in case..

scouter77 04-12-2002, 02:24 PM I second the notion on yota parts and sami parts too. There are too many doublers and low range kits out there for these and we have dana 20 info posted  I dont know squat about them or I would post it. I am sure someone knows this info. Ratios and weight dimensions and torque ratings would be nice??? Just a suggestion. Basically I find it incredibly useful as it is but expand more on the axles and t-cases. The engine part is pretty good how it is IMO. :smokin: I appreciate all the info I am sure others do too.

daniel. can you give brandon all the rockwell specs? weight. width, ration available that kinda stuff. i see the rockwell becoming more popular and the spec would be cool to have
Cheepin 04-12-2002, 08:32 PM Couple of things to add to Scoutdude's.The 203 was also used behind the SM465 in '74 and for some reason every '80 chevy came with a 205.blazin:rasta:
Gozuki 04-12-2002, 08:39 PM Engine Weights (http://performanceunlimited.com/documents/engineweights.html)
scoutver5.7 04-14-2002, 11:42 AM Yo Gozuki,
Where be the IH engine weights?
Mr. Infinity 04-15-2002, 06:36 AM How about a D60 parts list? A few weeks ago I started a thread to get a complete parts list for a D60. A lot of the information is there, I just haven't had time here at work to organize it.:)
D60 parts list thread. (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=39510)
