I was told it was around 12degrees or 15 degrees?

Anyone know?

I did a search and came up with 18 degrees max from one persons opinion.

Oh yah, Wngrog has his pointed skyhigh but it is not a rig that really sees the highway much.

I've talked top several people about this...Jess is one of them, and they all agree on 14º. I don't know where they got the number though. Just fill it with extra fluid and you should be ok. My 14 bolt should end up about 20º and I am just adding extra fluid.

I have seen a 9" at 22* with no oiling problems whatso ever. Many street miles.

I would prefer less though ;)

I guess it depends if you have a "woody" (Tom woods driveshaft):D

It appears the consensus, if you can call it that, is anywhere in the teens but preferrably below 15 degrees. Also fill it way up with oil.
