Propane fuel tanks

For those of you who are running propane, where did you get your tanks, and are they aluminum? :)

Call Mutuial Propane in Gardena (they're over by Jim Dickys shop), I got my steel tanks there and think I remember them having aluminum ones:)

I got my bling tanks from ebay brand new, the guy had about 20 of them $180 each delivered.

I went to my local Suburban propane and they gave me two 8 gal. tanks for free.:smokin: Later picked up a third for guess what? Free:D I've also seen them at the local flee market for as little as $20.

Not on my Ftoy yet but will be after it gets here. Get mine at the local propane supplier for $125. alum. I also picked up a #44 or 10 gal tank for a little more. It gives you a lot more riding time.

x2 on Suburban propane, brand new 10 gal tank was $135, my second tank was an outdated tank I picked up for free at a local forklift repair shop and had it re-hydro tested/dated and new pressure relief installed for $12 (at Suburban propane also)

Thats exactly how I got mine. They have stacks of those things just sitting around rusting to death. Best deal in town.:D
