I'm trying to 100% ID a front axle I've located from a salvaged 2000 F250 Super Duty w Triton V-10. I think it is a RC Dana 60 (99.9%), but not sure.

I only had a few minutes before the yard closed and I was escorted out (I pushed it a little too far as the staff wanted to leave), but I did notice it was a High Pinion with a ball joint. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to properly crawl under the axle for the ID.

I checked the Dana 60 Bible and the application for that year is F350 and up only.

Is there a chance this is an omission and RC Front Dana 60's were installed under 2000 F250 Super Duty's w a Triton V-10?

-Or-

Is this something like a Dana 61 or even a Dana 70? Damn, I hope not.

Thanks in advance...

Most likley, it's a D50....
Housing is the same as a 60, but the guts aren't.

x2, 60s weren't standard equipment til 2002, only way to get a 60 before that was dually truck.

Yep, you guys are correct. I've realized I was duped by over excitement. It's a Dana 50 for sure. Checked the Patooey site and confirmed it.

Thanks all...
