I've got a 351 windser out of a 86 f350. I'm not to familiar with ford engines and wanted to know what cc the heads would be on this year 351? I'm planning on runnig it on propane and am trying to figure out what compression ratio it would have with flat top pistons. I know the smaller combustion chamber heads will yield around 11 to 1 I'm told. Anybody help me out? Thanks
the only way to know is to CC the heads.

those are like sbc bathtub numbersSome of the early 302s had 58cc chambers, in fact I have a set of '68, 58cc chamber, 302 heads on a budget 351W I bought. It came out of an '84 Bronco w/dished pistons and about an 8:1 cr (dog!) I had these heads on a 302 I used to have in my EB....had bigger valves and hardened seats installed and a little bit of port work, had the bolt holes opened up for the 1/2" bolts the 351W uses and bolted them on my smog era 351W for a bump in compression, with a mild cam, Performer intake and 4bbl carb.....runs real strong in my early Bronco:D--------Hans
