sooooo i took it mudding once.. and now ive got this nasty rattle.. i can feel it rattle by my feet.. i thought it was my front drive shaft, but i put it back in 2wd and it was still there, someone said its the exhaust.. i dont know.. i also popped open the hood to take a look at the intake (wich i know nothing about) n saw some problems


this was unplugged... dont know why, maybe it just rattled off, i put it back on

and this hose is crushed...looks like it will be a mother to replace.. cant wait..

but yea if anybody else has had a weird loud rattle from just playing in mud let me know

might help to know what kind of vehicle it is.

Take out the front d-shaft and see if it goes away. Not knowing what year your rig is this is my best trouble shooting advice. If it does not go away, replace it, remve your rear d-shaft and test again.

looks like an xj or mj around (88-91ish), just a guess haha.

did you wash the mud out of the wheels?

yeah I get that vibe too when I leave mud in there:p

haha sorry! its a 89 lerado, and i think its mud on the exhaust, the more clumps that fall off the less i hear the clunking

easy fix...got a yard spinkler? one of those ones that make the arch and go back and forth?

hook it up to the hose and put it under the jeep for about 30 minutes as it waters the underside...viola! Clean undercarriage :D
