8.8 or 9.75, it is a metric pattern, not chevy/toyota, the sensor is for ABS and speed.

Not much at all. Considering there are beefier rear ends that are very plentiful in the yards.

the 9.75 and 10.25 sterling semi floats that come in them are stout for semi floats....i think they have 33 spline shafts? the 8.8 still comes in the 4.2 and 4.6 trucks

depends on who wants them. to me or probably most 4wheelers, nothing. The junkyard would probably charge $500 to someone who needed one though.

34-spline axles for sure on the 9.75".
The 7-lug 10.25" was 35-spline... dunno if they kept it the same after they went 6-lug.
$500 isn't steep for a late-model axle. Try $1500-2500 when supplying one to a dealership or insurance claim. :grinpimp:

the doesn't surprise me.. the stealership was charging $2400 to change the 10 bolt 7.5" rear for my company's astro vans.. the axle itself was $1300.. for a drum brake _10 bolt_..
