O.k. wagon experts I was surfing last night and found this.

What do you think? I'm sure it is not smog legal here in california so I would have to keep my stock stuff for use every two years, but the concept of better inflow of air could give my 3fe a slight boost.

Looks cool but $270 seems way high for a bunch of hose clamps and some PVC pipe. :D:D:D
I made one for my brothers honda, turn out very nice. Had it powdercoated even and he was only into for less that $80. (And $40 of it was the damn air filter) I will post some pics later today.

I'm natually suspicious of claims for "more power" out of the F family of Land Cruiser engines. It's not that it can't be done, but I think that people who are not satisfied with the hp/torque ratings of the F/2F/3F and spend money on improvements are wasting it, they should consider a V8 conversion from the start.
Besides, I'd like to know if the added air flow is achieved at the expense of dirtier air getting through the filter, a la K&N? That would be a concern for me, especially on a truck that sees a lot of offroad use.

Thanks for your thoughts guy's and 60seriesguy I had thought about the air purity issue also. Not looking for big improvements, but it would be nice to get a little more out of the old 3fe. Sorry so slow in following up but just got back from a weekend with 16 Webelos Scouts, now were did I put that
It seem like a primitive supercharger I’d like to see how much more hp it gives on a dyno
