Can I carry an extended cab bare frame in my 1991 shortbed Toyota truck? What is the weight of a frame? :)

If you could cut a bit off it would help. Frames are light ~200 lbs Id guess.

But then if I cut some it off, it would become a shortbed frame. :D Thanks for the weight. :)

grab a blanket and lean it against the cab.

Carry it weightwise, absolutely; the size is the problem. On a lumber rack would be a lot easier, since it'd stick out of the bed of a shortbed by... well... about an extended cab worth, which is illegal in most states.

There was a pic floating around of a reg cab chassis in the back of an S10 so I think it would be doable. just bring some 2x4s and a saw to build a frame to hold you upside down chassis off the roof with the hood area over the cab

I put Marlin's formula Toy in the back of his little blue pickup. With two straps to hold it down it was stable for its ride home.

Fortunately, I made it home with no incidents. :)

So you got the Formula 4? When does the build start?

Still don't have the Formula 4 chassis, but will be ordering it real soon. In the meantime, I am collecting the other pieces I will need for the build. As soon as I actually start building, I will be posting it. :)
