What's the shaft diameter on a FJ80 rear axle.
I've been doing friggin searches for the past 1/2 hour.
I obviously suck at it.:mad:

I am in the process of fitting 80 series diffs under my 40 series cruiser

I have the axles out of them, but the are in the shed.

I will get you a measurement later on tonight (my time!!)

If it will help I know they are the same size as those in an FJ-40, 55, 60.....

that's smaller than a 30 spline dana 44 at 1.31"

If they are the same as all other cruisers, shouldn't they be 1.5" like the minitrucks and D60. They just have a diffrerent spline angle.

mini's are like 30 spline dana 60's- 1.3" Not the good 60 at 1.5"

Most Dana 60 axles are 30 spline....FF rears and outers on Dana 60 fronts.

These are 1.33" and the 35 spline (mostly custom) stuff is 1.5" as is the custom Ford 9" 35 and 40 spline stuff.

..are we still talking about FJ axles, or are these numbers for Dana 60's?
