Hey I’ve thought long and hard and have decided to part it out and get out of the sport.

The Engine
Fully built 1988 22-RE by Marlin himself. Lot of little things done to kick up the HP but no major internal mods like a stroker crank or high comp pistons. Included is a 1 year old LC ceramic coated header, and a Summit aluminum 10 gallon fuel cell, and a 1 year old HD turbo radiator. This engine flat out hauls ass, it is a kick ass motor that has never had a single problem.

The LC Stage III SDS system
I just bought this and its still brand new in the box. They wouldn’t let me return it since it’s a “custom item” :( Anyways this is also a kick ass system that replaced the custom electronic harness the Marlin built but adds lots of HP and custom features. It does away with the toy distributor and runs the new way ignition with a crank trigger and coil packs. It replaces every wire needed to run the 22re and make it a stand alone system with programable computer. I upgraded to the idle up feature which idles up when there a load on the engine at idle( perfect for crawling) K&N filter that installs right on the throttle body, fuel pump relay, and a few other things. There have been a few write ups on this on the board and camo said that when he put it on his LC stoker it was laying down 4WD burnouts and had more power then is 4.3L V6. They also used it on Marlins Formula Toy.

Here’s a few links on the Stage III SDS like mine

Ok to sum it up im selling everything under the hood and anything and everything to make this run. Everything is or built my a professional’s who stand behind their work. Feel free to ask questions.

The engine was barley ran, it probably has less then 200 easy wheeling miles on it. It was never in a comp, comp buggy.

This would be awesome in a Formula Toy or anything since it a Stand Alone system.

$3,000obo

Hey I’ve thought long and hard and have decided to part it out and get out of the sport.

so are you parting out the whole rig or just selling the stuff under the hood? If it's the whole truck you're parting, I may be interested in the hydro stuff if the price is right!

Thanks
Jeff

I'd like to sell it complete for 3K but if I had to seperate I'd sell it for

$1,300 SDS
$1,700 Everything in AD minus the sds

Keep in mind this is the complete stage III with lots of upgrades that brought at the orignal price of over $1,700 last month from LC.

My price is still cheaper then the base system...

From LC

Pro Fuel - LC Pro Fuel Injection Kit #3

LC Engineering is now offering Pro Fuel Injection Kits for the Toyota 22R/22RE/2RZ/3RZ engines in three different configurations. Based on the SDS EM-3 system, the LC Pro Injection Kit is a fully programmable, stand alone, engine management system designed to replace the factory Toyota injection computer or convert your carbureted engine to fuel injection using an OEM EFI intake manifold and throttle body. It provides excellent results with naturally aspirated engines, super chargers, turbo chargers and all types of fuels in both off-road and street applications.

This system does not require expensive software or a laptop computer for programming. Using speed/density airflow sensing, the LC Pro Injection allows you to eliminate the bulky and restrictive OEM airflow meter. Full sensor diagnostics and programming are available in real-time.

Kits #2 and #3 include a fully programmable high output ignition system. You set the advance curve along with rev limiter and timing retard function for turbo/super charged applications. The Pro Fuel Injection is the most flexible and powerful engine management system.

Programmable Parameters Include: RPM Limiting, Start Function, Manifold Pressure, Throttle Position Sensor, Acceleration Function, Air Temperature, Ignition Timing, MAP Retrad and Boost Limiting!

This kit is designed for use on naturally aspirated engines up to 220 HP. For 0-175 HP use 240cc Fuel Injectors. For 175-220HP use 300cc Fuel Injectors. Note: Other performance components available. Call tech support for further information. Click Here to view detailed Installation Instructions for this product.

Im out of town for doctors visits. I'm jackin the neighbors wireless internet at my parents. I will be back home Tuesday, and probably gonna pull the motor later this week. So if you want it in "hear it run" condition let me know.

I'm staying firm at $3,000 for everything or $1,700 for everything minus SDS and SDS for the remaining $1,300 (since I upgraded everyting and was $1,737 total)

I'm waiting for a call back on Monday from LC to see if the'd make an exception and return it minus a few hundred bucks.

PM's sent

Is the picture of this engine? What would not pass a visual inspection? Would you be interested in a trade/cash?

BigDan

Yes this is a pic of my engine. Im guessing it wont pass visual due to the lack of factory sensors, distrubtior and block off plats, not to mention the header

I didn't think you had installed the sds yet. Interested in any trades?
