I saw one of these today, and was very impressed with its clean look. The owner said it's made in Washington. Does anyone have any further information on it? :)

Well, it sounds like the 06 bikes are still in the final stages. "Made in WA" is a bit of a misnomer. I believe the frames are made overseas in good factories (kinesis or alcoa) and put together / painted here in WA.

The Rotec bikes are focused towards the downhiller it seems. I remember riding some of the prototypes of early rotec's (once they were brought up to WA) and they have some good things going for them.

The owner of Rotec use to work for Boeing building aircraft and has been the owner for what... 7-8 years? Before that he made some brake levers and downhill stuff called Gravity Racing Components.

I am not up to date on the new design, but they were lots of fun to ride with a real absorbing rear end. The lawill design should keep the suspension active while braking (compared to the opposite on my SC super8).

If your in Seattle sometime, stop by the Downhill Zone. They carry them.
