Rat Patrol 04-12-2002, 11:18 AM I am trying to decide between some Eaton wheels and some Allied wheels. Anyone have any input on either of these wheels, I plan to beadlock these eventually and just looking for some strong wheels that will hold up to the abuse. I called Tyres International about their "Monster Wheels" built by Wheel Vintiques, I asked about their 16X8" wheels. He quoted me 1700 lb!!! Not exactly the hot ticket for mounting some 325/85R16 XMLs rated at 5070 lb @ 65 psi on a 1 ton crewcab expedition truck. To me a strong center = load capacity of at least 3000 lb. Charlie | |
