My wife brought home a Les Paul , Gothic , guitar last night. says it is a rare model . Is it worth anything or is it really a cool guitar ?

Depends on whether it is the Gibson or the Epiphone model.

Looks like the Gibson has some collectors value:

Looks like a very cool guitar none-the-less.

Andy , you got anymore info on my land map. I am still trying to determine where the property lines are as it relates to the trail. Actual on ground boundries have not been determined.

Pees, Dave has a map that he came over to my house with. He should be able to send to you.

It be da Gibson. Has a picture on the back of handle by the adjusters.
Very , very good condition. I can't play but it is cool. Maybe if I bring it to Rubithon Mark A will entertain us.

What year is it, The old ones like 1963 and older are worth about $6,000. I have never played a gothic but it looks like a cool ax.

That is just plain wrong  bringing a quality instrument on a 4 wheel trail, and then handing over to some wandering minstrel stummer dude to play cum-by-friggin'-ya is just out-and-out crazy

Glad to hear it is a Gibson - from what I read, the Gothic series is relatively modern, but limited numbers were made which makes it very collectible. Looks cool, and they used a classic neck profile - should play like a dream.

Andy

PS Did you get that map yet? If not, PM with your e-mail addy and I will send it.

In my best Rhett Butler voice "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn!" :flipoff2:

Anyhow, I don't go to Chit Chat - I would rather hang with my homies in da Cruzah section.  :p

Since this thread is going downhill anyways.......................

Where do you plug that thing in?:p

STill haven't gotten around to that kum-by-friggin'-ya piece yet, but I've added some Pearl Jam, Live, and Stone Temple Pilots to my list of 'folk' music.
