I'm looking for a what to put some 8lug wheels on an S-10. I know it sounds dumb but I have my reasons. I have a whole bunch of 8lug wheels with good Mud tires on them. All in the 30"-32" range. My Dad has an S-10 and he would like to mildly wheel' it. He doesn't want to spend much $$$$ on because it won't make him any $$$$ in return. Anyway I figured if I could find a place to get some adapters, that would be fairly reasonable. Any ideas would be great. Meanwhile I'll be looking for adapters.

do they even make real mud tires in the 30-32 range? i dont think it is considered a real mud tire unless it is bigger than a 36:flipoff2: BTW, with the money you will spend on adapters, you could buy some cheap steel rims with the correct lug pattern and have the tires put on them. or save yourself some more money and mount and dismount them your self. i just did a set yesterday, and it wasnt that bad.

are they 16" or 16.5" tires? if they are 16's you could get a set of wheels off a 93 and newer camaro that have the same backspacing as factory S10 wheels, and the same 4.75" bolt pattern. I hope he has some kind of lift on there, S10's have small wheel wells that are hard to fit big tires into.

The 16.5" are BFG Trac Edge. Look very similar to M/T's.The 16"s are brand new M/S Bias tires I got off a truck I bought for parts. I had forgotten about the newer wheels for the 16"s. No lift, Just a bit of Sazall work. It's a rough truck so the sawzall isn't going hurt it any. BTW we have a big shop
{48'x120'},we mount and dismount tires all the time for our farm and ranch equipment. Thanks for the Camero wheel idea.
