I am in need of a clutch soon and have owned many toyotas with the dual friction centerforce clutch,I will prob do it again with some input from my zuki bros....what do you think is it worth the 200 bones or what?also does anyone make a heavier flywheel or one that is adaptable to my 1.3?

Nope. I've got one and I have had it smoking. My next clutch will be a Petroworks High performance clutch. I have seen this clutch in action. The abuse it took would have left my dual friction Centerforce crying like a baby. Price is $215.00.

mine works awesome, so I would say go for it! Don't know about that Petroworks clutch. I have a hard time imagining that the petroworks guys make a better clutch than centerforce, a multimillion dollar corporation:confused:

I've seen the petroworks clutch in action......It Rocks!!!!!!!! There is now way I would have made it up the obstacle this guy did without ALOT of smoke coming from underneath. The P/W clutch DOES hook up well. This guy had his 35" tires wedged between some rocks and he was riding it hard. Not one ounce of smoke.

Like I said, if it was my D/F it would have been on fire.

Just my .02

Another guy did the same obstacle with a stock clutch and he ended up being winched over because of HOT clutch syndrome. It took about 10 minutes before he was able to move again.

I run a PW clutch, it works great. I have managed to smoke it after I went to the claws. I think the Swampers I had would spin before the clutch would slip. Lower gears and I'll be back to where I want to be. FWIW I have seen people smoke a centerforce with just a 4.16 and 33's, they can't work miracles.
