Ive been trying to find it again, but cant remember where I saw the thread about notching tube with a chop saw. I need to notch 1.5x1.5(.250 wall) square tube to be welded to 2" OD tube. What angle should the saw be at? Ive been tryin to figure it out all day and at this point cannot even add anymore, my brain is currently fried and useless

You can't easily cope square tubing to round tubing with a chop saw like you can with round tubing.. Get out the grinder.

I used a hole saw for some 2x2 .250 wall and I went thru 3 bits($15 each) to notch the two bars.

Or use lube and coolant.
