I have 98 4.3. I installed a throttle body spacer and an a aftermarket filter like a K/N. It removed the whole housing and now you a just a big K/N filter. After I installed these items, the trucks runs and sounds good. I notice some diffrence. But my temprature dropped to around 120. I have no idea why. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mike
