[(Salt Lake City, UT) May 10th 2006]-As the UROC 2006 Pacific Pro National season begins this weekend in Phoenix, AZ., UROC is please to announce that MLB World Series Champion Pitcher Albie Lopez (Pitcher - Arizona Diamondbacks) and Kreg Donahoe (Desert racing star - Donahoe family legacy) will be competing in the UROC Celebrity Classic on Saturday May 13th.
With special thanks to and support from BC Ethic Clothing Company and GR4 Productions, UROC has been able to extend invitations to various Celebrities to compete in the UROC Celebrity Classic during the 2006 Season. Future guest appearances are coming to the Pro Nationals stop #4 in Salt Lake City, stop #5 in Las Vegas and Supercrawl V including X Games celebrity/Desert Assassins driver Cameron Steele, and top female drifter/NHRA/Model/Star Girl Racing's Verena Mei, and others TBA.
The UROC Celebrity Classic has been established to allow and promote cross-over exposure opportunites within the sports and motorsports world and allow celebrities to raise money for their favorite charities at the Salt Lake, Las Vegas and Supercrawl V events.
