When replacing the bushings in my leaf springs:

There is a circular metal sleeve around the old bushing. Does this come off or stay? It seems like it should stay since they are a BITCH to get off (no I haven't removed one yet) but if they do stay then my NEW bushings won't fit:confused: :confused:

I'll shave a litte around the edges of the new bushings if I have to.

Use an air chisel blast them out. You can also try to use a sawzall to cut the bushing then peel it in.
