I have a 57 m38a1 and just recently put a 4" lift on it. It has manual steering and I was thinking about upgrading to power steering. Pros and cons of doing that would be great and what steering box would be the best choice to update to.
another question I have is it has stock front and rear axles etc. I don't think they have really been touched except for brakes etc. We did update to new shafts upfront with brakes off a scout. Was mostly concerned about the rear are the axles any good? I think it's a dana 44 under it. Not for sure though. Any help would be great.
jeep will mostly be used to mess around on trails in snow and mud no rock crawling or anything major planned yet.
