Well, i won the NM state V.I.C.A [Vocational Industrial CLubs of America] welding competition yesterday:D going to Kansas City in june for nationals.

Won a little 115v Millermatic 135, its cute :rolleyes: :p

Everything is compiled now, stick, Mig, Tig, oxycutting, and blueprinting.

kinda dissappointed in myself, i really choked. i should have SMOKED this prodject, but instead i freaked out, fawked up, but still won, so i guess its ok.
They had us using these "new" [didnt look brand new to me] ESAB mig/stick welders for the mig, and it wouldnt give me a Volts/IPM reading, just 1-10 for each then you had to hit a button and it would show you the supposed v/ipm, but it would just jump around. plus it was 100% CO2 so it was running HOT, and the metal was already VERY hot from the 7018 groove between vertical and overhead. My 7018 was the best, better than the post secondary too, but MAN, i gotta find a way to calm down...

Breath slowly to calm yourself down.

Focus on the exhale and let the air come in on its own.

I was the same way in Cross Country and my coach taught me this cool breathing technique. I calmed down and starting passing people like they were standing still.

It's 95% mental!
