I have an 86 720 2wd :flipoff2: with a small block and a T-5. The ID tag says HF37, I know the gears are 373's but what are the specs on the axle?.Ring gear size, spline count,.etc..
I am actually looking for a spool or mini spool.
I trashed one already and I picked up another one along with an HF38 out of a 90 Hard body.
I know the D21 axle is 2 inches wider overall but Ithink it has 3.80 gears.
The main goal here is to not have to change the driveshaft,wheels,etc. For the price of the 2 axles I will just swap it again if it breaks.I just need better traction and I am not real fond of the welded spider gear action.:nuke:
