Well, I am still messing with these gears...I think the pinion is set too deep right now. If that is the case, how much shim thickness needs to be removed? Like what is a good starting point, .005, or .010 or what?

I would remove .005 and check again.

I just setup 4 R&P's and my install sets didnt come with shims smaller than .005 . With no prior expierence, is .005 increments to big? (Toy, 5.29, yukon's) Sorry wasnt trying to change subject!
