Exhaust through bed?

Would it be ok if I routed my pipe so it went through the bed and to the top of the bed so I can keep it out of the water? I am not worried about holes or paint so no biggie. I just don't like the look of those snorkel things for exhaust pipes. Thanks

I'm not sure if your talking about making it come thru the bed rail but on my buddy's ranger we put it threw the bottom of the bed and made it like a stacker with a flap so rain couldn't go in the pipe as i'm in oregon so we get alot of that.
