Anybody use one? Wondered if they worked well for removing rust from irregular shapes and such on axles/ect..

If I could fine mine I'd send it to ya for $5 shipped to your door, I never use it. When I had an arc welder it worked good for removing slag in recesses, for rust though it's so-so. A knotted wire cup works sooo much better and for the tighter spots just use the smaller 1" cup or throw a few bucks to someone with a sandblaster.

I've got one I use mainly for chipping slag as mentioned. It also did a great job of finding the extent of the frame cancer on my Toyota! :eek:

Guess I will just buy some more wire cups then. The last one I bought is out of ballance and my hands go numb after a few minutes.

they work good on removing rust from around spark plugs

Highly recommend it for cleaning up around gussets on axle housings, etc. Great for getting into irregular spots that a round wire wheel will not.

EDIT: see this, I still think the attachment is the most economical
