i have an 88 blazer with 700r4/208. its been leaking tranny blood like crazy and it appears to be coming from the rear yoke. but its not leaking at the output seal on the slip, its almost like its coming out of the center of the yoke itself. everything from the u joint forward(towards the engine) is TOTALLY dry.has anyone ever had this. its like theres a hole in the slip yoke peice behind the u joint or something. its the stock driveline btw with a mild lift and 35's

There is a soft plug driven into the end of the yoke, and after time it starts leaking. Take it off, weld or braze it, then make sure you put some antisieze on the splines before you slide the yoke back in.

Not an uncommon leak.

I always use some RTV on the splines of a yoke to ball up and prevent this when I install them.
