I am looking for a OBD 1 Scanner for real time issues with a 90 SBC TBI swap....I have the flashing light scanner but would like something better...any advice???

The flashing light tells you the same thing the OBD 1 scanner will, it is just a matter of how you want your information forwarded. Not really worth the extra money in my opinion.

Not true. A 90 Chevy engine management system will have a data stream. Things like fuel trim, O2 sensor data, throttle position, map, coolant temp., etc.
I have an OTC Enhanced Monitor 4000. It works well, even in generic OBDII mode on newer stuff. You can get them cheap on eBay.

must not be the cheap time of year...Just looked and they are all 150 or more or is that cheap???
OBD2 scanners...now those are cheap:)

That's cheap compared to the couple grand I paid for mine new in the mid '90s.

I recently bought a Ford ODB 1 scanner for my Bronco from Kregen for $36. It's worth it for me.

I just bought this New Actron scanner shipped to me for 99 bucks....hope it works...

I have only seen them for GM ecm's.

Sorry but in all my searching I have not seen a Jeep one...which come to think of it is rather strange...since I found one that works with Skoda but not Jeep...

chrysler's drb2 scantool does it. Never seen any software for jeep or dodge 91-95, just the drb.

Here is the route I went...ordered from tradervar.com never heard of them before but quick service and got all you see for 99 delivered...
