AWESOME WEEKEND, snapped an left rear axle friday night on my 62 climbing yellow hill out of prichett. took us four hours to get it out and all of saturday to get it back to town and on the trailer. You don't realize how heavy the beast is until you have to winch it draging the housing up a boulder field. :)

I bet you wish you had rear discs! That caliper would have held the broken axle in the housing.

Pritchett rules. Eve though its by far not the toughfest trail down there its one of the best I love it! C-clips SUCK!!!! I have been trying to break my FJ60 rear for years to no avail guess I will have to trade in my 300 horse 350 for a big block...Just kidding about the big block part.

I think I'm going full floater with discs. Got to save up for a while though. The scenery was awesome last weekend , cactus were blooming had just rained. Didn't think I could break an axle with the weak 3FE, But damn it was fun overall.
