What does this pivot and and adjustment rod look like on these old style steel clutch forks? Reason as I ask is I have broke two adjustment rod, a 3/8 and 7/16 grade 8 bolt. Should mention its a jeep 350/465 setup. What I did was fabed a bracket for a slave, cut the head of a bolt, rounded it on one end for the slave then run it through with one nut on the inside for adjustment and two on the back edge to jam nut so it won't go anywhere. Problem is its tight and I'm getting no slack with it at all. Need to come up with something and if I could see what this pivot looks like might help, done searching across the net and pirate and the only thing I found was a camaro setup that I think is similar.
