I recessed the tail lights up high and out of the way.
Also made provisions for a spare tire (included)
It comes with canvas cover.

It's muddy from the trip

Someone before me thought it was a good idea to cut a tail gate in it, but I bolted it back up solid.
I looked a long time before selecting this trailer. It has a little rust but not nearly as much as many I came across.
The trailer is at my bros house. I get some detailed pics if anyone is serious.

It's going in the Recycler in a couple days, won't last!

What kind of hitch ?

If I were to say I want it could you wait a few weeks until I got down there ?

Good luck

Original pintle. The hitch and square receiver go with it.
I can wait three weeks.

BTW, I spent a considerable amount of time re-furbishing this trailer for use behind a lifted Bronco for use in the back country. It was about 7 years ago, though.
Did you know that these trailers will float and were originally made to be used as a 2 man life boat if needed?

Nice looking trailer. Looks like surface rust. A hand brake too? I wish I could take it north when I move to Nevada city in June.
regards, as always, jefe

I don't know if it is sold yet, but I took a good look at the trailer yesterday. I actually live a block away and I have always seen it driving around. It is in great shape, the pictures don't do it justice. There is a bit of rust, but only surface from scratches after having stuff in the box, nothing some sandpaper/wire brush and elbow grease won't get rid of. The frame and the box are solid, and the hand brake works! I don't know JR personally, nothing to gain here, just trying to pass along some info.

You can always try to sell it on the M-416 yahoo Groups site, there are always people trying to buy those, quickly if you need to!

BTW I have a M-416B1 too! with built-in gas can holders! Not 4 Sale!

They use those trailers to float in at Military Gatherings!
1/4 ton trailer races, 2 people using M-1 Garand Rifle Guns as paddles and race across the river!

Fortunately mine has been cut up with a tailgate and holes in the floor, it'll sink real quick! :)
