I have an 88.5 sami. I swapped in a 1.6 about 2 years ago and it has worked great. Within the past few months I have developed a grinding between my starter and flywheel. I ruined the stock flywheel and starter. I replaced both and still have the grinding. Has anyone had this issue? If anyone has any ideas I would be very greatful. This has become a real pain in my #@%!. Thanks. - Justin.

I had the same problem. You have to take the four bolts that hold the engine to the trany off-then move the engine some bolt it back up and it might work. Took me 2 times before it worked.
