Hello,
I have an 89 Ford 4x4 truck with a 300-6 and EFI. I am contemplating attaching a Dana 300 behind the transmission. The transmission is a cast iron 4-speed with a PTO access plate.
The Dana case is 23 spline with the round pattern
What would it take to attach the Ford transmission to the Dana case?
Thank you.

A new input shaft for the dana 300, and a custom spacer to mate the two,
try to look it up with advance adapters?

Where are you in southern Oregon?
I live in the Klamath Falls area.
I'll check out the AA site.
Thanks

I thought the Dana 300 was only made for a passenger side drop. Maybe I am wrong. If so you would need a flip kit which is pretty spendy if I remember correctly. I hope I am wrong.

I am contemplating installing it in a custom application.
Thank you and have a good day!

IIRC,the 80's J-10's with 208's used the same 23 spline output.
One should be able to toss the jeep output into the ford tranny, and bolt a 300 on the back, allthough you may need to use the jeep adpater aswell.

OK I will look into that. I know in the early 80's alot of manufacturers went to the round pattern so it got my wheels a turnin'.
