What type/size are the fittings for the metal line on the steering box? I searched and cam up with nothing. While we're at it, what type/size are the other fittings on the box? Might as well put it all in one thread...

M14 for the pressure line and M16 for the return... Get them out of speedway motors. Both are O Ring type.

Adapters to an array of other fittings styles are available from Lee's (?). A search on Gen 4x4 for power steering fittings will yield the link.

As for the hardline, when you find out, it will benefit me as somewhere since I got the box from Slade, I've mushed the hardline-always wondered why it was so stiff!

So are these the same as metric pipe fittings?

I think you know what I am trying to do...

They are metric o-ring fittings, yes.

If you search Summit Racing you can find Earls and Aeroquip fittings and stainless hose to make your own if thats where you are going.
