need to put some new gauges in and was wondering is it easier to run electrical gauges, or mechanical gauges and could you also tell me which one is more reliable in bouncy conditions?

thanks:D

I usually run mechanical oil pressure, and the rest electrical. As far as reliablity, it just depends on what you buy. The cheap Vato zone guages probably aren't going to be as reliable.

Depends on what gauges you're running - doubt that you are going to find mechancial temp. gauges, voltmeters, and ammeters... :D

The electrical are much easier to install - running wires instead of tubing to carry the pressure, vacuum, whatever...

As for reliability, what you are looking for are good, quality gauge more than type of gauge. The liquid filled ones (which can be mechanical or electrical) will likely read more stable if you are in severe conditions.
