Hello all....just the new guy here. Looks like a great forum.

Anyway....My question is about a Dana 60 rear disc brake conversion.

I am in the process of converting my rear drum brakes on my F-250 to disc brakes. A while back I had found a site that showed how to do this with Ford parts. It included using the caliper brakets. 2 piston calipers, pads and rotors from the front Dana 44 axle. I have procured the brackets, calipers etc. but need a few more parts. The article had pictures and part #s. Herein lies the problem. I have lost the address to the site due to a computer crash.

Does anyone here know of this site and if so could you let me know what it is. I believe I originaly found it on the FTE site but have done a search and can't seem to find it.

Any info would be greatly appreciated and again.....GREAT SITE

Thanks

I don't know the site of which you are speeking but there are good all inclusive kit out there. http://www.blackbirdscustomtrucks.com/index8.html makes a great product and it is a very easy install.

Your welcome, if I ever put 3/4 ton axles under my Bronco I plan to do the same.

hey I am interested in doing this conversion but i need to know if the caliper brackets used are from a f250 or a f150. I'm really not up on the whole ford thing so forgive me. I just reallt don't want to pull a bunch of trucks apart and not find the right stuff. And I didn't see it in the instructions what truck to use. thanks tim

That's a good write up, I should be able to do discs on the back of my truck for pretty cheap now.
