I am looking into getting a small generator for my side business. I do gate operator installs for my dads fence company. He uses the 5000watt and 6250 watt colemans and they work fine. I was just hoping to use a little bit smaller one, so that it takes up less space on the tralier. I think I have seen a 3800 watt push one ok with a short cord. Any input would be fine, and a good place to get them locally, I am in Sacramento, CA

No less than 2500 watts should do it (20 amps x 120 volts... then round up a bit)
