i have one and it works fine.

it does leave red paint on your wheels and some of the parts can be "improved". do a search in this section for some other feedback on them. they've been discussed before.

imho from doing tractor tires i'd just get some tire sponns and a tire hammer and a bucket of soap and do them on the floor. this set up is nice cause its portable

Get the HF manual machine-and link it into a 2" receiver hitch. The biggest probelm is not having a solid anchor to get leverage from. Throw a piece of 2"x2" square tube out to add an additional anchor and its a nice portable machine. I used one until I scored a broken COATS rim clamp locally for cheap and fixes it with a few new orings...

Get some good spoons-HF actually has some good for for cheap as well.

If you are talking of the $50 one, I have one and broke the bolts and base of it on a particularly tough truck tire. So at the bare minimum if you get one replace the bolts holding the base together, and use fender washers under them as the metal will dish out under the bolt heads otherwise. Even so, they are hard to beat for $50.
