Hey I lost my Chiltons manual and I was wondering if some one could look up the torque specs for the flywheel to the engine (350), and the flywheel cover. I tightend them pretty tight, but I figure I better be safe rather than sorry in this area.

Reading from my '72 Chevrolet Service Manual Specifications for Engine Torques in the back pages, it says the flywheel bolts to engine are 7/16-20 and torqued to 60 lb. ft. for *Small V-8 350*.
*Flywheel housing* are 3/8-16 and torqued to 30 lb. ft. whether inline 6, SBC, or BBC (in '72). I'm sure the *flywheel housing* is the bellhousing. If you meant the *flywheel housing pan* (tin inspection cover), bolts are 1/4-20 and the torque value is 80 lb. .in.
